MRC SUPREMO- a Phase III randomised trial to assess the role of adjuvant chest wall irradiation in intermediate risk breast cancer after mastectomy.
The 500th patient was recruited to SUPREMO on 26th Aug 09 from University Medical Centre Groningen, The Netherlands. At the equivalent time last year, accrual was 250 patients, so recruitment has doubled over the last 12 months.
